Hi, I'm Hannah. I'm your woman with a van.
I started Han With A Van for a slightly selfish reason, and I think that's exactly why it works.
I'm a theatre producer and a business coach by trade, and back in early 2025 my work was almost entirely online. I loved it, but I could go days without leaving the house or moving my body, and I wanted something active, something with an instant payoff, something that got me out into the world being useful to real people on a real day. I'd spent years transporting theatre set and props, even running a van-share up to the Edinburgh Fringe, so I knew I loved driving big vans and long roads. So I gave it a go.
Then something happened that I didn't expect. The moment I started posting about my idea, women came forward in their hundreds with their stories. The man who showed up hours late. The one who wasn't careful, who rushed them, who made a weird comment, who sent a creepy message afterwards, who knew their new address and how to get inside. I realised there was a whole need sitting right there, unmet, and that I was uniquely placed to meet it.
So now that's what I do. I've helped 200+ women and counting move in and out of flats, houses, storage units and brand new chapters, all across London and the UK.

People are often surprised by how much I can shift on my own. That's not an accident. I weight-train two to four times a week so I can lift almost anything you've got, safely, and without dropping it, scratching it or doing my back in halfway through your stairs.
